White Christmas 2008

Lauren and Robert all smiles on Christmas morning! It's time to open some presents!

We woke Christmas morning to our very first white Christmas! The snow was beautiful and it snowed the whole time we were opening presents! It really made Christmas that much more magical.

Lauren's 8 year photo shoot

I forgot to add this to my blog! Near Lauren's birthday in October I took her to Lampe Park and took her 8 year photos. I was so happy with how they turned out! So here she is, our 8 year old!

Sleep over

Lauren got her first actual letter grades last week! She did so well, getting straight A's...and one A+! We wanted to give her a reward for doing so well and so we let her choose one friend to invite over to spend the night. She chose Carli and they had a great time baking cookies, playing games and watching movies! We're so proud of her. Great job, Lauren!

Robert and I took the kids to the annual tree lighting ceremony in Genoa. It was fun! Cookies and cocoa were set out for everyone to enjoy and after the tree was lit, Santa showed up! The kids got to hang out with Santa for a while. It was really cute! Hard to believe there's less than 3 weeks until Christmas! Ho! Ho! Ho!

Every year we take all of the grandkids to get a holiday photo taken together.  Right before we left I snapped this picture of Lauren and Robert!  It turned out to be a very sweet photo!    Thankfully, the photo shoot of all 6 grandchildren was a huge success!  Its amazing that we got them all to smile!   I'll post that one as soon as we get it from the photographer!

Thanksgiving 2008

This year Thanksgiving was at our home! The whole family came up. We had a great time! It was so great to have everyone here. I got quite a few photos and will be sending an album to everyone very soon!

Lauren is 8 years old!

Lauren had her 8th birthday on Saturday!  She had a blast with her friends and family!  She had a High School Musical themed party and it was really fun!  I can't believe my little girl is growing up before my eyes!  

14 years ago today

It's hard to believe that Robert and I have been together for 14 years now!  We both were so young!  Donny was still in High School and Adam had just graduated that year!  It's hard now to imagine life without Robert in it.  Its hard to remember a time when he wasn't around!  Here's to 14 years together!

Donny & Priscilla's Wedding

My baby brother got married on September 20th! We were all in the wedding party. We had a great time and the wedding was beautiful. Lauren had a great time as a junior bridesmaid...and from dancing the night away. Little Robert was a great ringbearer! We were so glad to be a part of such a wonderful day!
