I think taking pictures in the blue bonnets is a requirement the first year you live in Texas! They did make for a beautiful background! Springtime really is beautiful here!

Robert's 5 year photo!

Our "baby" is turning 5 years old in just a few short weeks! Looking at him, its hard to believe that he's that old already! I took his 5 year photo a little early this year, when we were taking our family portraits. I thought this picture was a total reflection of his personality and so its officially his 5 year photo! Robert is doing great in Pre-K. He loves music and building things and his teacher says he's gifted in math! He has never had any interest in the alphabet or writing but yesterday his teacher showed me that he is writing his name now! Yay, Robert!

Lauren's 9 year Photo Shoot

We can't believe that our little girl is 9 years old! She is growing and changing so much. Lauren is in 4th grade and is doing very well! Her first report card had 5 A's and 1 B+. We are so very proud of her. She is taking piano lessons and is having a great time with it. Right now she is anxiously awaiting summer vacation! (Yes, its only January) but she is ready for warm weather, sunshine and swimming with her friends!

New photos of the kids

This Spring, Lauren entered the school's talent show! She sang Taylor Swift's song "Love Story" and she did amazingly well! I had taken her outside to get a photo before the show... and this beautiful shot is what I got! I took one of Robert, too and I got lucky twice! :)

Spring Pictures

Lauren got her spring pictures back today from school. I think it turned out really cute! Along with her pictures, her report card was sent home... and she did so well! This time she got straight A's... and 2 A+'s! We just couldn't be prouder of how hard she works! I can't believe that there's only 3 months left of 3rd grade! 4th grade sounds so much older!

Robert's 4 year photo shoot!

I took Robert to Lampe Park today to take his 4 year photo's. I think the shoot was a success! I got some great pics to choose from and thankfully Robert was in a great mood and was totally cooperating! What a handsome little boy he is!

Robert's 4th Birthday Bash!

Robert had a great birthday party! He had a cowboy theme, complete with cowboy hats, chili dogs, a horse cake and lots of friends and family! I can't believe my baby is 4!
